December 7th

It has been a busy week in more than just for the house.

I chose the tile for the back splash in the kitchen and found matching tile for the entry. I am totally excited about them. They will have a little Deco tile in them too.

David worked on a really large rock that he found while digging for our strawberry bed. He moved it to the front of the house and then dug a big of a hole and set the rock in up in it.

We also made our final choice on the paint color for the inside. It was kind of funny. We thought we had chosen a color and then went to the Stevens to show them and discovered that it was the exact same color!! So we went back to the drawing board and choose a couple of other colors that were lighter. We changed it 3 times but I like the shade of White that David choose. (If any of you know David you will be laughing right now!) It is a tan color but you can't really tell unless you look close to the white windows.

We also had James out this weekend to do the Stone on the front of the house. I really like how the color of the stone looks with the house. It had a bit more pink than we expected but over all we really like it. The kids played a role in choosing what stone was handed to James. Richelle even worked on the finishing of the wall.

Saturday David and I had his company Christmas party. So, while James finished up we got dressed in out format attire and prepared for our night out.

Today we had to pull the paper off the floors for the work that will start tomorrow on the house.

The schedule as I understand it (for those of you who don't know - David doesn't want me to know when the house is going to be finished) Monday - under-layment and Garage door (I think), Tuesday - Cabinets delivered and electrical finish work, Wednesday - Vinyl flooring and our bathroom vanity, Thursday -Cabinets start to be installed.
