So today we have the second floor's floor on and our stairs in. I think it looks so good! We took the kids up one at a time and showed them the marks on the second floor that showed them where all the bedrooms are. It is funny how the down stars rooms look bigger all closed in and the second floor looks smaller, even though it is the same size. It is all that open space. We don't have the bonus room and bathroom in place yet upstairs because they are built into the trusses for the garage.
It is so fun to see it all coming to life. Today we have the septic getting started. We didn't quite clear enough for them to do their work so they are felling a few more trees and then they will put in the drain field. We have been told that it should be all done and signed off in two weeks. Then we can move over there and not use the Stevens Septic anymore.
We scheduled our roofing and are supposed to have siding start in two weeks too. Hopefully we stay on schedule.
This week we ordered the windows and choose our exterior doors. We are supposed to pick our trim color this weekend!
