In July Richelle was able to participate in her first horse show. She has spent the summer being support for the Stevens girls while they competed at shows and they have taught her a bit and encouraged her to participate.
She did Showmanship class where she has the horse on a lead rope and demonstrates her control of the horse. She took 4th place.
She also did some riding classes where she is judged on her equitation. She is riding "hunt seat". She was really nervous and we could tell.
She also did a trails course really well! We are proud of her performance. Some of it was quite challenging for her but she completed everything she set out to do and we are pleased.
She is taking lessons now and is improving! Monique says that she is a natural rider!
