More Progress On The House

We had our footings inspection yesterday and they are supposed to be pouring the cement today! It has been loads of fun to go out and walk thru the house and actually see something that shows us where the walls will be.

We also have temp. power this week and, what makes Phillip very excited is that we have a port-a-potty. (It's the simple things in life that keep us going!)

We have had such horrific service from Qwest you would never believe it. It has taken now at least 14 phone calls to try to get them out here to give us phone service. I spoke to a girl there who actually told me that my phone needs electricity like my refrigerator, coffee machine or television. And when I said, you know our power goes out here quite frequently and the phone still works she honestly said."really?" Like she was shocked. So, if we can get the people at Qwest to be honest we might have phone service by 7pm on Aug 29th however we aren't holding our breath, this is the 3rd appointment that we have had with them. What makes us think they will keep it this time?!
