David and Dallin went hunting Saturday morning.
Just as they were deciding to pack it in for the day they got to pack it out!
Dallin called home really excited that "Dad shot a buck!" Don't they both look thrilled!
It was a decent sized animal for a black tail. It was 108 on the scale at the butchers.
David hung it in the garage and skinned it there. We had a friend of ours come out to show him how to do it. Another friend from work came out to check and carve a little on Dave's deer too.
The boys enjoyed a "leg" fight.
"Dr" Phil checked out the heart. "Looks disgusting" was his diagnosis.
The heart was saved because we knew Grandpa would enjoy it.
They each took a turn posign for a photo opp.
